Lylewood Summer Camps
What to Expect
Lylewood Summer Camps offer a week-long retreat from the everyday hustle and bustle. Camps begin on Sunday afternoon with check-in from 3-5 pm and conclude with pick-up on Friday at 11 am.
Each day is filled with Bible-based learning, including daily Bible studies, singing, and worship, complemented by a variety of activities designed to reinforce and deepen the impact of the daily lessons.
But camp isn’t just about learning—it’s also about having fun! Enjoy sports tournaments, organized games, hiking, daily swim time, a weekly bonfire, and much more.
Lylewood is a special place filled with fun, love, and great food. We can’t wait to see you soon at camp!
Christ Focused
Camp days are filled with daily Bible studies, personal time with God for prayer and reflection, along with singing and worship. These activities are designed to guide our campers toward a deeper, more meaningful relationship with Christ each day.
All-Inclusive
Your camp fee covers all costs associated with attending camp, including meals, snacks, lodging, crafts, and all activities your camper will participate in.
Summer Activities
Each summer is unique, but one thing remains constant—it’s hot! To beat the heat, Lylewood offers a pool open every day for swim time, split by boys and girls. In addition to swimming, campers can enjoy water games, water balloon fights, and a slip-and-slide, ensuring plenty of fun and a cool way to spend the summer days.
Camp Costs
Each week of summer camp is a flat fee of $165, which covers all meals, activities, and crafts for each camper.
At Lylewood, we are committed to ensuring every camper has the opportunity to learn about the Word of God. If your family is experiencing financial hardship and you’d like to apply for sponsorship through our generously donated fund, please email us at Contact@lylewood.org with some details. We will be happy to assist you in signing up for camp.

Frequently Asked Questions
What time is Registration and Drop-Off on Sunday?
Registration is your first stop at camp! During this time, you’ll check in your camper, meet our staff, get answers to any last-minute questions, and help your camper get settled into their cabin.
Registration takes place on Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.
Please note that registration will not begin before 3:00 PM, as our staff will be preparing the camp and finalizing setup. We kindly ask that you do not arrive early.
Camp activities will officially begin at 5:00 PM, at which time all cabins will be cleared for the start of our program.
What time is Pick-Up on Friday?
Camp will conclude at 11:00 AM on Friday. We ask that all campers be picked up promptly at dismissal time to help ensure a smooth and timely checkout for everyone.
Thank you for helping us wrap up the week safely and efficiently!
What payment methods do you accept?
Our online registration platform accepts credit cards and ACH transfers, and offers payment plan options for those who register early.
If you prefer to pay by check, please reach out to us at contact@lylewood.org — we’ll be happy to assist you with the process!
What if we can not afford camp?
At Lylewood, we believe every child should have the opportunity to experience camp and hear the Gospel —regardless of financial circumstances. We are proud to offer a sponsorship program for families in need, and it’s our policy to never turn a child away due to financial hardship.
If you need assistance sending your camper to camp, please contact us at contact@lylewood.org. We’re more than happy to help through our sponsorship fund.
If you would like to support this mission, donations to the sponsorship fund are always welcome. You can give online or mail a check with a note indicating it’s for the sponsorship fund. Your generosity helps make camp possible for every child!
What if my camper has medications?
Lylewood assigns a dedicated staff member to manage all camper medications during each camp session. This trained individual ensures that every camper receives their medication at the appropriate times each day and provides assistance with a range of medical needs — from bug bites to minor cuts and scrapes.
If your camper requires medication during their stay, all medications must be brought to camp in clearly labeled prescription bottles. Please also provide written instructions detailing dosage and administration times. This helps our staff safely and accurately care for your child’s medical needs.
What is the dress code at camp?
Camp is a place for fun, movement, and modesty. Campers should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing that reflects a respectful attitude toward themselves and others.
Shirts: Should have straps that are at least 2 inches wide. No low-cut or midriff-baring tops.
Shorts: Must come to within 3 inches of the knee.
Swimsuits: Girls must wear one-piece swimsuits or a dark-colored t-shirt over a two-piece. Boys should wear swim trunks.
Leggings/Shorts: No skin-tight leggings or bike shorts unless worn under looser clothing.
Shoes: Secure, closed-toe shoes are required for most activities.
Water Activities: Bring dark-colored clothing for water games (t-shirts and athletic shorts are great).
Thanks for helping us maintain a fun and respectful camp environment for everyone!
What should campers NOT bring to camp?
To help everyone unplug and stay focused on the experience, please leave the following items at home:
All electronics (phones, smartwatches, tablets, laptops, gaming devices, etc.)
→ If brought, they will be collected at check-in and returned at the end of the week.
Weapons, knives, or sharp tools
Fireworks, lighters, or matches
Tobacco, alcohol, or vaping products
Inappropriate books, magazines, or clothing
Items of high value or anything irreplaceable
Campers are welcome to bring non-perishable snacks, but please store them in a sealed container or zip bag. We’ll provide plenty of meals and treats too!
Are there important rules my camper should know?
Yes — we go over rules the first day of camp, but here are some basics every camper should be prepared to follow:
Be respectful to counselors, staff, and fellow campers
Participate fully in activities and stay with your group
Use kind and encouraging words
Keep hands and feet to yourself
Follow all safety guidelines
Stay in your own cabin after lights out
No boys in girls’ cabins and no girls in boys’ cabins at any time
Take care of camp property and help keep spaces clean
Our goal is to create a safe, inclusive, Christ-centered environment. If any camper needs help or has questions, our team is always available.
